Advertiser’s car boot sale gets rolling for the new year
The next market and car boot sale will be on March 7.
The sun came out to play during the first car boot sale of 2020 held at the Bokkie Park on February 1.
Wearing hats and holding umbrellas, hundreds of people came through to pick up a bargain at the 12th edition of the Boksburg Advertiser’s car boot sale.
From as early as 6.30am, exhibitors were already setting up their boots, ready to make some money.
About 35 stalls offered a variety of secondhand items, such as clothing, paintings, tools, kitchenware, books, toys, baby items, and garden and camping equipment.
Food and drinks were also sold at the venue.
The car boot sale is a Caxton media initiative in association with the Bokkie Park Craft Market. The event is held once a month on the first Saturday of the month.
