Don’t drop your Ronnie bag at SPCA

According to Boksburg SPCA manager Vicky Finnemore, they have received a letter from Mpact stating that going forward they will not collect mixed paper.

Boksburg SPCA employee Michael Mofokeng next to the Mpact bins where mixed paper have been found lying around outside the bins.

Until further notice, the Boksburg SPCA urges residents to refrain from bringing their papers or Ronnie bags to the society.

“We have residents who are just unloading their paper and green Ronnie bags outside our gate. These residents are not even taking the initiative to put the paper into the Mpact bins,” said Boksburg SPCA manager Vicky Finnemore.

“This creates an eyesore of paper lying outside our gate, which leaves us no choice but to pay an employee overtime to clean up this paper,” Finnemore said.
