An illegal immigrant, whose visitor’s permit had expired in May 2017, was arrested after police caught him riding a stolen motorcycle along Rondebult Road in Comet on January 16.
The observant officers, who were patrolling, spotted the man struggling to ride the Big Boy motorcycle at about 8pm.
They approached the man and inquired why the motorcycle had no number plate and a licence disc.
He told the cops that he left them at home and the officers went to his home in Comet where it was later discovered that the Big Boy motorcycle was stolen.
