CBD clothing store cleaned out

Thieves entered a clothing store, Civic Outfitters, on Commissioner Street in the Boksburg CBD and stole R10 000 worth of goods.

The complainant told police he left the property on November 26 and returned to the premises on November 27 to discover that it had been burgled. The burglars entered the building through the roof after they cut off ones of the steel roofing sheets.

School targeted

Burglars forced their way into a Hoërskool Voortrekker building and got away with two air conditioners from the property sometime between November 22 and 25.

Car thieves strike outside Homes Affairs offices

A woman was left stranded after thieves stole her Toyota Etios from the parking area outsides the Boksburg Home Affairs offices on Market Street on November 28.

She told police she left the car and entered the Homes Affairs offices, but when she returned to the spot about five hours later, the car was gone.
