Thefts
Thieves forcefully opened the bonnet of a vehicle and stole its battery while it was parked outside the Boksburg City Stadium on November 13.
The victim, a municipal employee working at the stadium, told police he exited the stadium at about 9pm to discover that thieves had broken into the council-owned vehicle parked outside the stadium.
• Cable thieves entered the power substation on van Dyk Road, Boksburg East, and stole copper cables worth about R6 000 on November 13.
Burglary
In Cason, burglars entered a residential house on Krynauw Street and stole a TV set during the night of November 13, while the homeowner was still asleep in the same building.
• Thieves entered a business located on Kingfisher Avenue and stole clothing sometime during the night between November 13 and 14. They gained entry through the roof of the building.
