The Boksburg police have over the weekend conducted a massive operation in different hot spots in their policing precinct.
Members of the SAPS and EMPD arrested several suspects for different crimes during the anti-crime operation.
On Friday, officers descended on Angelo informal settlement where they swooped on illegal liquor traders, and closed down three taverns.
Alcohol was seized and the traders were arrested and later released after being issued with fines.
