Bring cheer to pets by supporting the SPCA Christmas fund
The purpose of the Christmas Cheer Fund is to raise funds to cater for all the furry critters that need to be fed, and to provide Christmas treats to all the destitute pets.
It’s that time of the year to put a smile on the furry ones by supporting the Boksburg SPCA Christmas Cheer Fund.
The Boksburg SPCA finds its kennels overwhelmed during the Christmas and New Year period, prompting the Advertiser to help with the fund-raising drive.
The SPCA Christmas Cheer Fund runs from November 1 until the end of January, so continue to help raise the much needed funds for the four-legged friends at the Boksburg SPCA.
The community is encouraged to get involved by supporting the drive for the well-being of pets through donations, with the understanding that no amount is too small. Donations can be dropped off at the society’s premises, Railway Street, Boksburg, or by depositing them into the bank account: Boksburg SPCA, Absa Bank, Eastlands Branch 630442, account number 4046388139.
Beneficiary reference: Christmas Cheer and your name/anonymous (it’s important to state that the payment is for the Christmas Cheer Fund).
Fax a copy of your proof of payment, including your optional short message, to the Boksburg SPCA on 011 916 5908.
Also email the proof of payment, with your short message, to ntombis@caxton.co.za, so that all sponsors be they individuals, schools, organisations or businesses, can be recognised in the Advertiser.
