Thieves flee with tools stolen at local hospital

In another case of theft, thieves forced their way into a residential house in Cason and stole valuable goods on November 1. They forced opened the door to gain entry, and stole a TV set, amplifier and clothing.

A maintenance worker had his tools stolen by copper pipe thieves at his place of work, Tambo Memorial Hospital, on November 1.

The worker told the police that he left his tools next to one of the tanks he was working on at the hospital.

When he returned to the spot, the tools were gone, and he noticed that the thugs took his tools and used them to remove the copper pipes and disappeared with the loot.
