A Plantation woman was rushed to hospital after she was shot by robbers on November 2.
The complainant told the police that he was home when he heard his wife screaming at about 8pm. He went to check and noticed a man, described as a black male, manhandling his wife.
When he approached, the intruder jumped over the fence, and his accomplice, who was standing outside the yard, fired shots at the victims injuring the woman in the leg.
* In another violent crime, a man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg when he was attacked by a gang of criminals on November 2.
The victim told the police that he was walking along Angelo on his way to work just before 5am when he walked pass three men.
When he was just a few metres away, one of the men followed him. He then started to run away, before the man fired one shot, and the bullet hit him in the leg.
