Boksburg police officers attending to a gun-related complaint in Jerusalem informal settlement recently arrested a man driving a stolen kombi.
Const Legodi and his colleague Const Tyumbu received a complaint about someone who was threatening someone with a firearm in the informal settlement.
On their way to the scene they came across a speeding white Toyota kombi which matched the description of the suspected gunman.
They tried to pull the driver over, but the driver pressed the accelerator to the floor and the kombi shot forward.
With the help of a backup team, officers managed to corner the suspect a few kilometres away.
