The angry community members filled the public gallery ahead of the case being called. They waited impatiently for the suspect’s turn to appear until 1pm, when the court staff went on lunch.
At this point, people in the courtroom were overheard murmuring questions including; was the case even placed on the roll? Is it a botched investigation? Will the child receive justice?
The suspect had not yet appeared when this publication left the court at 1pm.
