Robbed
Police are looking for a gang of thugs who in broad daylight robbed a delivery driver of seven boxes containing cellphones on Leeuwpoort Street Boksburg CBD on August 3.
The driver parked the company vehicle, an NP2000 bakkie, and got out of the vehicle before the gang approached and aimed guns at him.
Thereupon, they took the cellphones and fled the scene in a white Ford bakkie. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
Burgled
* Thugs forced their way into the Virgin Active branch on Kingfisher Avenue in Sunward Park and stole four Lenovo computers during the night between August 28 and 29. Police found that the criminals forced opened the emergency exit door to gain entry.
* Thieves forced their way into the building of a company located at the corner of Van Dyk and Brakpan roads and stole five computers, during the night between August 30 and 31. The thieves entered the building through one of the windows. The stolen items are insured.
* In Sunward Park, thugs broke into a business and clothing store on Kingfisher Avenue and stole clothes, shoes and towels during the night between August 30 and 31. Stolen goods are not insured.
