Video: Support for fund-raising tins in aid of Insimbi Legacy Projects

The charity tins were uniquely designed by the owner of Divine Be Gracious and ambassador of the Insimbi Legacy Projects Sharon Janse van Rensburg.

The Insimbi Legacy Projects has found the favour of businesses at the Checkers Hyper Centre.

Therefore fund-raising tins are now at the tills of Spicelet, Pet Necessities, Perfect Cut, Chenab Cell Electronics, Good Friend, Smart Blinds and Décor, Lady Fé Restaurant, Fir Furniture, Mr Biltong, Cell Connection, Wedding Connexion Boksburg, Lazy Laundromat, Polish Me Pink, King Pie and In My Knapsak in support of rhino conservation.

An official launch was held on July 13.

Fund-raising tins are now at the tills of numerous shops in support of rhino conservation.

The public was invited to see what the project entails by meeting the team behind this worthy cause.

The community also had the opportunity to show their support by buying eccentric items, such as mugs, T-Shirts, biltong and The Royal Rhino African Cream Liqueur.

Raffle tickets were given away at the launch.

Those who entered the raffle stood a chance to win an adventure with a cause weekend in August for two people to the value of R4 500.

However, there could only be one winner, which was Hannes Breytenbach.

According to Carmela Lattanzi, founder of the Insimbi Legacy Projects, the launch was a success as they could create awareness.

“We would like to thank the shop owners who took tins and for their support. All of this wouldn’t have been possible without Sharon,” said Carmela.
