The senior division of the college wanted to support the furry friends at the Boksburg SPCA. They made a monetary contribution of R1 160 to the NPO.

In addition to the money raised, the SPCA was gifted with cat and dog food.

The food was contributed by Mike Moriarty and the Noah’s Market Mountain Bike and Trial Run Series hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni and the Woodlands International students.

According to Maggie Mudd, the manager of the Boksburg SPCA, these types of donations are always needed.

“I thank Woodlands for the funds and lovely food. It is much appreciated. More and more animals are coming into the SPCA these days and donations are always needed,” said Maggie.

The Junior College decided to support Rottie Rescue South Africa. A donation of R790 was offered.

The pre-primary chose to support the Hanna Charity and Empowerment Foundation, with an amount of R1 150 donated.

Matt Volschenk received a cash prize for selling the most tickets for the colour run.
