Donations flood in for St Francis from Bavin Inc and Aida

The public are welcome to still make donations.

Bavin Incorporated Attorneys and Aida Boksburg brought delight to the St Francis Care Centre when they recently delivered more donation.

The law firm donated necessities, such as clothing and blankets, that will come in handy during the cold winter season.

A cash donation was also made and Bavin Inc is still raising money.

The donations were made possible with the support of sponsors like Aida Boksburg and the public.

Donné Garbutt and Imtiaz Saikh from the law firm said they are planning to make donations more often.

“Bavin Inc would like to thank all in assisting us with the donations. It is much appreciated,” said Imtiaz.

“We want to support them because we admire the work they do at St Francis. We went there for 30 minutes, thinking we did a good thing, but when we leave the people at the centre still need to be taken care of.”

Imitiaz added that business partner Aida Boksburg’s donations made a major difference.

“We donated items such clothes and raised money for St Francis. If we see a gap to give back to the community, we take it. The people at St Francis need care and we want to help them. We know government funding isn’t enough,” said Denver Ramnath, owner principal at Aida Boksburg.

Tilly Brouwer, centre manager at St Francis, said these donations are much appreciated.

“I thank Bavin Inc and Aida Boksburg for their generous donations. We rely on these types of donations. It enables us to take care of the people in the centre,” said Tilly.

People who are willing to make a donation may contact Donné at 011 894 5121 or 072 516 1738.
