The City of Ekurhuleni is hosting the Youth Unemployment Summit today (June 28) at Emperors Palace.
According to metro spokesperson, the key issues that will be discussed include the lack of absorption of youth into the workplace, and the preparedness of the youth to acquire new skills compatible with the new workplace technology such as robotics and artificial intelligence.
He said the summit will bring together the youth, City’s leadership and employers to address the challenges of employment and job creation.
