The Member of Mayoral Committee for Finance Doctor Xhakaza, will on Thursday, May 23 table the Budget and Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for the 2019/2020 financial year at the Council Chambers in Germiston.
According to metro spokesperson, Themba Gadebe, the budget follows interactive public participation processes with the citizens of Ekurhuleni.
“Xhakaza will among other things outline how the City will continue to ensure that poverty, unemployment and health are addressed through inclusive economic growth in Ekurhuleni,” said Gadebe.
