Ekurhuleni’s Chief Financial Officer Gugu Malaza and City of Ekurhuleni has reached an amicable decision to part ways.
This is according to Phakamile Mbengashe, spokesperson to the mayor.
Mbengashe said the resignation was adopted by Council at its ordinary sitting on March 28.
Malaza was suspended pending the finalisation of an investigation into the alleged non-disclosure of information regarding her dismissal from the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC).
