A tip off from concerned members of the Windmill Park community to the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members led to the arrest of a male suspect found in possession of the drug crystal methamphetamine.
The value of the drugs is around R6 000.
This is according to chief superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD spokesperson.
He said the arrest and seizure of the narcotics took place on Saturday, March 16 in Windmill Park.
“The given address was pounced upon where 20 ziplocks of crystal meth were uncovered.
“A suspect (24) was handcuffed and charged at Dawn Park police station for possession of illicit substances.”
