Criminals target homes in Sunward Park and Freeway Park

Criminals targeted a number of Boksburg homes recently.

In Sunward Park, thugs forced their way into a residential property and stole a Dell laptop, Samsung iPad and Apple iPad while the victim was inside the same targeted building.

The crime took place during the night on February 19. The victim told the Boksburg police that she heard noise coming from the building before waking up and looking up to see what all the commotion was about.

She noticed male strangers leaving her property and later noticed that they had stolen her belongings. The stolen goods are insured.

• Also in Sunward Park, thugs forced their way into a business trading in liquor and stole three computers, two TV sets, speakers and an undisclosed amount of money during the night between February 19 and 20.

The thieves broke one of the windows to gain entry into the property. The stolen goods are insured.

• In Freeway Park, burglars entered a residential house on Morgenster Road and stole a TV set, a laptop and jewellery on February 20.

The stolen goods were not insured.

• On February 19, in Freeway Park, along Tierhout Street, thieves targeted a residential property where they lifted the electronic gate off its rail to gain entry.

They then proceeded to the house where they forced opened the door and stole two TV sets (Plasma and Samsung) and jewellery.
