Stage 3 load shedding kicked in at 8am on Wednesday , February 13 and is expected to last until 11pm tonight.
The announcement was made by Eskom earlier this morning.
NOTICE: Due to the shortage of generating capacity, Eskom will continue to implement stage 3 loadshedding today, 13 February 2019, from 08:00 until 23:00.

Eskom said despite generating units returning to service, emergency reserves (diesel and water) are still very low.
Stage 3 calls for 3 000MW to be shed rotationally countrywide at a given period.
The City of Ekurhuleni schedule does not make provision for stage 3 load shedding.
