Freeway Park family survives home invasion

No shots were fired and no injuries reported.

A Freeway Park family survived a home invasion on Saturday, February 2.

The complainant told the Boksburg police that he was home with his wife and two grandchildren, just before sunset, when a gunman entered their home.

The armed man instructed the victims to lie on the floor.

By then the gunman were joined by his accomplishes. They locked the victims inside the bathroom, before ransacking the house.

The robbers then fled the scene with stolen goods.

In Parkdene, thieves forced their way into a residential house on Coetzee Street and stole valuable items on February 1.

The stolen goods included a Plasma TV and a laptop.
