A 37-year-old suspect has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife at their Windmill Park home just after midnight on January 21.
Const Nkemeleng Mabula, Dawn Park SAPS spokesperson, said when police arrived at the house, the victim alleged when her husband arrived home he complained about her car being parked outside and not in the garage.
“It is alleged when she tried to respond to her husband he started to beat her. The complainant managed to run away to ask for help,” Mabula said.
The suspect will appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
