A manhunt has been launched for suspects who allegedly killed three men in Mapleton.
The community of Mapleton made a grisly discovery on January 19, when they saw three bodies with multiple gunshot wounds lying on the street.
According to Nkemeleng Mabula, Dawn Park SAPS spokesperson, there was a fourth person who was allegedly shot but was taken to the hospital.
“The police were called to the scene and found the three bodies lying next to a VW Polo Vivo.
“Next to the vehicle, the police found a rifle firearm and a 9mm cartridges.
“New revelations surfaced when it was found that the vehicle was hijacked on that same day in the morning in Kempton Park,” Mabula said.
The Dawn Park SAPS are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder.
