Municipal offices to close, emergency services will not be affected

Metro spokesperson, the City’s 24-hour community health care centres will continue operating throughout the festive season.

 

The Ekurhuleni metro offices will be closed from Monday, December 24 and reopen on January 2.

“Primary health care clinics that operate during normal working hours will only be open between December 27 to 28 from 8am to 4.30pm,” said Themba Gadebe, metro spokesperson.

“Ekurhuleni residents can continue to enjoy the convenience of the City’s extended hours health care programme, and 28 clinics across Ekurhuleni are already part of the 24-hour health care provision programme.”

He said prepaid units for electricity can still be bought from the various vendors during this time and the online platforms are available to view and pay accounts online on  www.e-siyakhokha.co.za.
