Seven suspects robbed Incredible Connection at East Rand Retail Park in North Rand Road on Sunday, December 9.
According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson Sgt Fina Matwetja, the men entered the store as customers at around 9.45am.
“They produced firearms and instructed the staff and customers to the back of the store. They then proceeded to take items, such as laptops, external hard drives and smart phones.
“They also took cash, about R2426, and they took the customer’s Iphone wrist watch and his wallet. No shots were fired.”
She said one security officer was kicked in the knee and was attended by the paramedics before being taken to the hospital.
Investigations continue.
