It’s beginning to look a lot like cocktails
Annie’s Festive Gin Fizz with Pomegranate and Rosemary (makes one cocktail)
Syrup (syrup enough for four cocktails)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 sprig fresh
- rosemary
Boil the water and sugar until the sugar dissolves, remove from heat and add the rosemary and let it sit for about 15 minutes, refrigerate.
In your fancy festive glass, add the following:
- ¼ cup gin (Yes, that’s not a single, a little bit more than a double, but it’s the season to be jolly)
- ¼ cup pomegranate juice
- 1 teaspoon or so fresh pomegranate rubies/arils/ seeds
- ¼ cup of the refrigerated syrup Squirt of fresh lemon juice.
Fill the glass up with soda water. Add a fresh rosemary sprig and more pomegranate rubies to add to the festive look.
