The Boksburg Lions Club has embarked on its annual charity project of selling Christmas cakes during the festive season.
The Lions have announced that Christmas cakes are now available.
Profit made from the sale of the cakes goes towards the club’s charity initiatives the club undertakes to build a better life for Boksburg communities throughout the year.
Projects include improving sight and prevent blindness, hearing aids, diabetes awareness and education, youth exchange and leadership development, feeding schemes, assistance to senior citizens, protecting our environment and disaster relief, assisting the youth and supporting the mentally and physically challenged.
The Boksburg Lions Club managed to collect thousands of rand through Christmas sale initiatives in the previous years and thank the community for their continued support.
