Annedernive shines as first princess in Ekurhuleni Ambassador pageant

Every aspect of the Ekurhuleni Ambassador pageant supports the ideals and attributes of today’s woman – a woman who has her own goals and views of her role within society. These ideals are emphasised by the associated charitable causes which largely benefit from Miss Ekurhuleni Ambassador event.

Miss Ekurhuleni Ambassador pageant finalist, Annedernive Brown (21), walked away with the first princess title at Emperors Palace on August 12.

Annedernive was one of the 20 finalists from across Ekurhuleni competing for the crown.

The 20-year-old beauty from Reiger Park said: “I feel so excited that I was crowned the first princess. The whole experience has been an eye opener as it required me to work hard, but I also had lots of fun. “

Annedernive is a humble young woman who loves travelling, laughing and cooking.

As part of her pageant duties, Annedernive took part in community development projects where she volunteered at the Daniel Project and the Reiger Park Cancer Group.

According to Annedernive, the word ‘bold’ describes her character, because she regards herself as being  confident and she goes all out to get what she wants.

“The support I have received from my family and friends have been amazing. They would join me at events where I volunteered as well as help raise funds,” she said.

The 20-year-old aspires to be a project manager and to run her own NGO.
