Local police stations stand together for Women’s Month

Community patrollers, the CPF, Women's Network and Men for Change were also involved in this project.

Officers from Boksburg, Boksburg North and Reiger Park SAPS came together on August 24 to raise awareness against women abuse for Women’s Month.

The project called ‘Sekwanele Nqabafazi No To Women and Children Abuse’, kicked off at the K90 centre in Boksburg after which the officers went to Boksburg CBD and Reiger Park.

Officers from Boksburg, Boksburg North and Reiger Park SAPS joined forces to raise awareness for Women’s Month.

At each location they handed out pamphlets with safety tips, information on substance abuse and other social issues as well as giving information and advice on who to contact and where to go if they are being abused.
