CPF helps to uplift the Boksburg community

The CPF community in Boksburg recently supported Mandela Day by visiting Huis Dien Bothma in Boksburg North.

Members of the community and members of CPF Sector One and Four have joined hands to clean up the community.

For the last couple of weeks, the CPF along with the public, have tackled Ravenswood Street, which is a hotspot for vagrants and illegal dumping.

When Clinton Festraets, deputy chairperson of the CPF Sector Four, got a call from a concerned community member regarding the terrible state of Ravenswood Street, he did not hesitate to take action.

So followed the initiative of cleaning up, which, according to Festraets, has proven to be a great success.

“We thank the community and CPF members for joining forces and doing what needs to be done,” said Festraets.

“Skips have in the meantime been organised to make it easier to remove the rubbish. Mansfield Property Solutions will also sponsor PPE wear and equipment for this project, while GHB Electrical, along with Mike’s Kitchen in Westwood, have also come on board.

“The support from the community has really helped a lot. The CPF is a group of friends and family, so we will do what is necessary for the benefit of the community.”

His wife, Leticia, does regular patrols with Clinton.

“We are a community that stands together to fight crime. We have unbelievable members.

“Our community meetings provide the community with a platform to discuss issues in the areas and to report any problems.”

If you would like to become a member of the CPF contact the sector number 064 534 7052.
