A foreign national suspect found in possession of narcotics was on Tuesday, July 31 arrested during the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit’s early morning operation in Boksburg North.
According to Chief Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD spokesperson, he was arrested around 7.16am.
“Information from a reliable source was acted upon by the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members which resulted in the suspect’s place in 5th Street being searched.
“The metro police officers came across four ziplocks of CAT and one ziplock of crystal methamphetamine worth R1100 on the streets.”
He said the suspects (32) was detained at Boksburg North police station on charges of possession and dealing in illicit substances.
