Last week on Thursday, the metro’s monthly council meeting was disrupted when Angelo informal settlement residents arrived at the metro chambers in Germiston.
They demanded to hand over a memorandum of grievances to the mayor, which include their frustration over chemical toilets (bucket system), running over and electricity infrastructure.
The MEC for Infrastructure Services, Robert Mashego, received the memorandum.
