Watch: Disgruntled Angelo residents show up chambers with list of demands

Lack of service delivery has been ongoing problem in Angelo.

The metro’s monthly council meeting was disrupted today (July 26) when Angelo informal settlement residents arrived at the metro chambers in Germiston.

They demanded to hand over a memorandum of grievances to the mayor, which include their frustration over chemical toilets (bucket system), running over and electricity infrastructure.

The MEC for Infrastructure Services, Robert Mashego, received the memorandum.
