Help to brighten the smiles of the less fortunate
Members of the public are encouraged to participate and donate to the cause by donating a toothbrush and/or toothpaste.
Mega Mica Boksburg and Tracy Harris Properties are collaborating to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day by brightening the smiles of those less fortunate.
Their campaign is centred around collecting a minimum of 67 toothbrushes and 67 tubes of toothpaste, which will be donated to a local charity on Mandela Day (July 18).
“Sometimes, we take small and basic hygiene products for granted. No one should have to go without the basics,” said Mega Mic marketing manager, Brigitte Thysse.
Donations of at toothbrush and/or toothpaste can be dropped off in the collection boxes provided at Mega Mica Boksburg (Towers Shopping Centre) or Tracy Harris Properties (26 Frelon Road, Impala Park) up to July 5, from 8am to 5 pm.
