Criminals with sticky fingers active in Boksburg

Below are some of the serious crimes recently reported to the Boksburg SAPS.

• Thieves forced their way into a business in Munnik Avenue, Cinderella, and stole laptops worth thousands of rands on July 1.

It was later found that thugs derailed the gate before they forced one of the doors open to enter the building.

• In Farrar Park on July 1 burglars drilled a giant hole through the wall of a hall located in Beit Avenue and stole goods, including a vacuum cleaner, microwave, kettle, drinks, money, teacups and cleaning material.

• Burglars forced a window open to gain entry into a residential house in Van Der Post Avenue, Parkrand, on June 28 and ransacked the property.

They stole valuable goods, including a TV set, laptops, PlayStation, sound system, jewellery, DVD player, camera and iPad.

• In Leeuwpoort Street, Boksburg CBD, burglars entered a business through the roof and stole goods and money on July 2.

Stolen items included a personal computer, clothing and cash.

• Also in Leeuwpoort Street, Boksburg CBD, thieves entered through the roof of the PEPcell store during the night between July 1 and 2 and stole brand new cellphones to the value of R150 000. Three safes in the store were also found damaged.

• In Farrar Park thieves recently broke into a residential house on Fitzpatrick Street and stole a TV set.
