The two-day spectacular attracts more than a thousand visitors.
The 2018 Ekurhuleni Arts and Wine Festival is returning to the Protea Hotel by Marriott OR Tambo in the gardens on September 7 and 8.
In its third year running, this annual event promises to be a spectacular gathering for arts and craft lovers and wine connoisseurs.
This year’s festival promises to be nothing short of amazing with a new twist giving local residents an opportunity to showcase and sell their amazing work, from beaded work to art.
“Over the years we have always been about giving the youth of Ekurhuleni employment opportunities, our inaugural event trained them to be hosts at the event.
“This year we have opened up the platform for creatives by setting up stalls with the assistance of the metro for them to sell their products,” said Tshepang Lutshaba, CEO of Asakhe Events.
