Ekurhuleni residents and the business sector are reminded that as from July 1 tariffs will increase.
This is according to the announcement by the MMC for Finance and Economic Development Doctor Xhakaza when he tabled the 2018/2019 budget speech.
Tariffs have increased as follows:
- Assessment rates 6.9 per cent
- Water 12.96 per cent
- Sanitation 9 per cent
- Refuse removal 7.5 per cent
- Electricity – between 5.32 per ceent and 8.5 per cent (subject to usage)
