Excelsior Academic College gives back to the community

The school warmed the hearts of residents at Jubilee Home and the Eventide Red Cross Government Retirement Home.

Recently the students of Excelsior Academic College, together with Paws for People, had the privilege of handing out gowns and bedsocks to the children of Jubilee Home.

The children were so grateful and excited to receive the donations that they wore the clothing immediately.

Later in the week, the students joined Paws for People again and visited the Eventide Red Cross Government Retirement Home to hand out gowns, bedsocks and other goodies.

They also gave residents biscuits for tea while spending time chatting to them.

The residents said it was the best day of their lives.
