A missing child was recently found sleeping on a couch in a house in Pretoria Road, Witfield.
According to Capt Juanita Coetzer, Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson, the Boksburg North SAPS Crime Prevention members received information and were led to the address.
In the same house, the SAPS found a man sleeping in a room with a big safe, which was searched and a shotgun, a rifle and ammunition were found.
The man could not produce a licence for the firearms.
