Avonique crowned as Miss Pre-Teen World
The highlight of the evening was when she was crowned as Miss Pre-Teen World 2018.
Laerskool Baanbreker learner Avonique van Rooyen (10) was crowned Miss Pre-Teen South Africa first princess at the Miss and Mr Junior SA and Miss and Mr Universal SA pageants recently.
She also walked away with the title of Miss Pre-Teen SA Gauteng for the third year in a row.
This pageant was hosted by Carolyn Baldwin Botha from Pageants SA.
Pageants SA is involved with charity work and each titleholder also have to be involved in various charity projects in their year of reign.
Avonique was also chosen to represent South Africa in Turkey later this year.
She also holds the title of Petite Queen of the Universe 2017 (Queen of the Universe pageant was in held September 2017), as well as Petite Queen of the World 2018 (Queen of the world pageant was held in February 2018).
Her hobbies and interests include gymnastics, dancing, netball, hockey, drama and modelling.
