The authorisation for deployment of mobile speed cameras in Boksburg has been renewed.
Authorities have revealed where they will operate those mobile and fixed speed cameras in the city.
Below are the locations where EMPD officers, armed with speed cameras, will be conducting speed checks to catch speedsters effective from May 1, 2018, until April 30, 2019.

Northbound; between Rolls Royce Street and Elizabeth Road: speed limit 70km/h (above 80km/h is authorised for prosecution)
Northbound; between Top and North Rand roads: speed limit 70km/h (above 80km/h is authorised for prosecution)
Northbound; between Commissioner Street and Top Road: speed limit 70km/h (above 80km/h is authorised for prosecution)
Barry Marais Road
Both directions, between the R554 Bridge and Boksburg prison entrance: speed limit 60km/h (above 70km/h is authorised for prosecution).
Both directions; between the R103 and Rondebult Road: speed limit 60km/h (above 70km/h is authorised for prosecution)
Both directions; between the R103 and N3 Freeway: speed limit 60km/h (above 70km/h is authorised for prosecution).
