Vivarte Arts Festival is taking Boksburg by storm.
When Winston Churchill was asked to cut arts funding in favour of the war effort, he simply replied: “Then, what are we fighting for?”
In celebration of performing and visual arts, Hoërskool Dr EG Jansen is hosting the Vivarte Arts Festival, which will run from May 2 to 16.
Nearly 2 000 thousand entries were received, from participants from Boksburg, Benoni, Brakpan, Springs, Heidelberg and Pretoria.
To encourage people to support our future writers, dancers, actors, musicians, orators and artist entrance to the auditorium is free.
