Pep store in Witfield robbed

This robbery follows the Pep store in Sunward Park being targeted earlier this year.

Five armed robbers targeted Pep store in Main Street at the Witfield Square shopping centre yesterday (May 2).

Boksburg North SAPS communications officer, Capt Juanita Coetzer, confirmed that the robbery took place at 2.30 pm.

“A number of different cellphones, numerous bundles of nappies and an undisclosed amount of cash were taken from three tills.” said Coetzer.

According to Coetzer, no one was injured.

Investigations continue.
