A memorial service for the 20-year-old Beyers Park resident, Adriaan van Staden, who died in a car accident in North Rand Road on March 31, will be held in Boksburg tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am.
Van Staden’s father, Peet Booysen, was unable to speak to the Advertiser but confirmed the memorial service details.
According to Beeld newspaper, van Staden was changing a flat tyre on a car in which he had been a passenger when another car crashed into it, trapping him under the vehicle.
Both his legs had to be amputated that evening.
Van Staden died in Tambo Memorial Hospital on Monday.
The Advertiser is awaiting information from the SAPS about the investigation into the accident.
