Donate your ponytail at Shavathon 2018
Here is your chance in 2018 to do something good for chairty
If you have a ponytail of 25cm or longer then you have until mid-February to decide whether you are willing to part with it for a good cause!
The Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) will be out in full force again on February 24 and 25 for the annual Shavathon and they are hoping thousands of people will be willing to part with their ponytails again this year.
These are the criteria if you are willing to let go of your ponytail in aid of Cansa:
• Must be human hair
• Ponytail must be at least 25cm long
• Hair should be clean and dry.
• Dyed and treated hair is acceptable.
• Unfortunately, no dreadlocks can be used.
• When cutting your ponytail, bind both ends with an elastic band and place in a zip-lock bag (this preserves it in the best condition while being transported to the wig manufacturer).
