With the help of her grandchildren who assisted in handing out the presents they also donated a small plastic swimming pool, lunch boxes, stationery, mops and brooms and many other items to put a smile on the children’s faces this festive season.
” Every year at around this time we do a charity drive. People are in need and so we try to make a difference wherever we can,” Debbie said.
Michelle said: “We would like to thank Usabco for their Addis donation and Mohammed for the stationery donation.”
Marie Russell from the Samaritaan Huis thanked Debbie and her daughter for the donations.
The Samaritaan Huis, situated in Sky Street, offers free pre-school education for Grade R to disadvantaged children.
