Sixteen arrests made for possession of illegal substances.

Alleged fraudster arrested

The Boksburg North police have on November 27 arrested a man believed to have swindled people looking for a place to rent out of a lot of money.

According to Coetzer, he recently advertised a flat to rent online and numerous people applied for it. He then collected deposit money from more than one applicant and gave them the flat.

“When investigated, it was found that the suspect has been doing this to a lot of people. The suspect was arrested and charged with fraud. The investigation is continuing,” said Coetzer.
