Lions Christmas cakes selling like hotcakes – order now!
The Boksburg Lions Club said their Christmas cakes have been selling like hotcakes.
They encourage residents to continue supporting the initiative, since there is still stock.
According to Lion James van der Merwe, the club has in a short space of time managed to sell scores of cakes.
“We are so grateful to residents of Boksburg and surrounding towns for supporting this good cause,” said van der Merwe.
Profit made from the sale of the cakes goes towards the club’s Meals on Wheels project and the many other projects the club undertakes to build a better life for Boksburg communities throughout the year.
The cakes cost R100 each.
