The complainant was in her house when she noticed a white car parked in front of her house.
According to Capt Juanita Coetzer of the Boksburg North SAPS, the complainant heard the bell ring, but did not open because the vehicle was unfamiliar.
She also heard someone pulling on the garage door.
The suspect left the complainant’s house and after a few minutes returned.
She again heard someone pulling on the garage door and contacted the security company.
The complainant went outside and inspected her garage and found that some items had been moved.
The security company arrested the suspect and Boksburg North SAPS detained her after the complainant opened a case of attempted house break-in.
